Packr is an original app concept that was designed, researched and tested by myself.
After interviewing a dozen participants about their travel habits, motivation and past experiences, one thing became abundantly clear. Everyone had a story about packing gone wrong! Whether it was overpacking, under-dressing, or even forgetting their underwear, nothing derailed a trip like a poorly packed suitcase. Thus, Packr was born: the simple trip-planning solution for travelers everywhere.
The end result is an auto-generated packing list based on location, duration of stay, and type of trip. Packr also includes a live weather forecast, location-specific travel tips for first-timers, and social sharing. The visual aesthetic leans heavily on flat design.
